The Jefferson County Health Department (JCHD) is now providing basic in-house laboratory services, available to the public at significant cost savings.  Our Lab Clinic will be open to the public every Tuesday morning from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This new service is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the quality, efficiency, and cost saving of care, and to ensure that essential health services remain accessible and affordable for all Jefferson County residents.

What We Offer:

• Lab sample collection as ordered by your healthcare provider
• Lab results mailed to you and sent directly to your provider
• Offering a variety of lab tests at low out-of-pocket cost
• Trained highly qualified staff to perform tests, provide education, and answer questions

What We Do Not Provide:

• Interpretation of lab results
• Medical evaluations or treatment
• Follow-up care for abnormal lab findings
• Insurance billing or claim submission
